Obviously innocent until the media says you are guilty. I don't know what the punishment is for making a false rape accusation or if it is distinguished from filing a false police report at all, but it should be and the penalties should be harsh imo.

How would you even enforce that? The DNA puts him with her. Unless an eye witness or camera caught the event, there's no way to prove she's lying. You going to throw the accuser in jail every time a defendant is found not guilty?

I don't know. Jemelle Hill was on mike and mike this morning and she mentioned something like a 97% of people coming forward with rape accusations are telling the truth. I don't know where she got that number I don't like her articles but she was a victim of an attempted rape so she was on mike and mike. I really hate cataldi. I think people that lie about rape cause some doubt in actual victim's cases. Plus any time a man is associated with even allegations of it, he has to shoulder it for a long time. The way it seems society views it, you would probably be better off being accused of murder.

Winston's attorney said they knew all along they would find his DNA. He has never said he wasn't there. And the witness statements will completely exonerate him.

Jameis banged this chick on the reg, while having a girlfriend. With his girlfriend coming to visit that week he tried to remain distant from her. She was jilted, and threatened to accuse him of rape, she subsequently filed the report. It was quiet once she realized she was fucking with the boosters. Now the question is who drudged this up. Who sent that TBT reporter the exact case # so he could start making inquiries?

JWs story has ALWAYS been it that it was consensual. One of the affidavits is from the accuser’s roommate and the other is from another football player, both of whom were present (happened at HER apartment, not a bar, not a party, not JWs place) both confirm that they had an ongoing relationship.

There are photos of the two of them together taken before AND after the initial allegation. The roommate claims she was pissed at JW for some reason that night and decided to claim rape, perhaps because he told her his real GF was coming in town that day. She changed her mind after the call but before the cops got there but didn’t want to tell them she made it up. Thus the “unidentified” rapist…intentionally fabricated description.

We will see what happens I guess.

I wasnt speaking directly to Melchior. I know it came off that way but I meant you as in all the people calling for the kids head already.

Shame of it is this will follow this team for the rest of this season and will follow Winston the rest of the career no matter how it ends. Even bigger shame if it turns out some sort of crime was committed. The whole situation sucks for everyone involved.
