Republicans had plans as well. The simple truth is this plan isn't working and never could work as sold to the American people - hence the lies. My wife works in direct patient healthcare - this has been an unmitigated disaster. People are losing their doctors/coverage and have no idea what to do.

I honestly do not think anyone will truly know the merit of this plan until it is in place and used for a period of time. There is a ton of fear mongering from the right and sugar coating from the left. I think it is important to let it go for a bit and see how it works because what we had before was truly broken. Will this be better I do not know only time will tell.

As far as the merits of GW vs Obama they are truly 1A and 1B as far as bad presidents. GW lit this country on fire and Obama has dumped gas all over the fire.

You are considered out of line for questioning the military unless they question the wars, question the official stories, or try to talk about what the horrors they seen over there. Then it is expected to deride them as imbeciles and whack jobs.

Well, I tried to resist, but just for some REAL first hand input, as some of you know our HC plan was one that was cancelled, I had been trying unsuccessfully to get onto the exchanges since they opened.

Well I finally singed off on my new policy, this IS the bottom line, my deductible is over DOUBLE, my prescription plan pays HALF what it did, and my total out of pocket is more than DOUBLE, my monthly premium is up 25%

The raise in premiums is not the biggest issue for us, but in order to not get a ridiculous monthly rate, we had to chose a lesser plan, yes, the new plan of course has all of the woman things that my wife no longer needs and at 56 I really don't see either one of us getting pregnant.

It also will cover our young kids until they are out of the house, well again, we're paying for something we will never use, as my kid, moved out 14 years ago.

We can afford the extra 6,000 a year in premiums, BUT, in the case of a "bad" year for either one of us the EXTRA out of pocket over our old plan will amount to another 10,000

Take from it what you will, this is not right or left twisted, these are ACTUAL numbers.
