Actually science is wrong too. Carbon dating, half-life of isotopes...all bullshit. We date older things based on a bullshit formula that can't be proven because nobody lives that long.
So what the difference between science and religion? They both ask you to have "faith".500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

I don't need faith to know that sugar will dissolve in water.
I do need faith to adhere to (some of) the Ten Commandments.DB

And math btw is also a science and I don't need faith to know that 2+2 = 4.
Having said all that, I am a person of faith. But not blind faith.DB

I generally try to stay away from this stuff on the board, but I think the fanatics need to be ignored. There are plenty of pastors and priests who acknowledge science, and say that the "days" in Genesis could simply describe 7 units of time, not actual days.-Slizz of Wangnutz

How long is the half-life? Is it constant? Does it speed up or slow down after a few decades?500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy.
