Not having DeSean on the outside changes everything. Teams don't have to stick a deep safety on his side of the field. That safety can now come down into the box and stuff McCoy.

No DeSean changes the entire dynamic of your offense.

Eagles got much much weaker this offseason. FAct.

Mediocre at best? Giants were 5th in the league LAST YEAR in Yards Allowed Per Play. So they were very very good last year already. You throw in the additions they made this offseason, and they just became a dominant defense.
DRC is a stud CB? Do you even watch football? You must be on springbreak from Middle school. Does your mom know you are using her computer?

Nope, not really. He played behind the worst offensive line in the league that collapsed in his face on most dropbacks. He had no time to throw at all. He had no legit RB. No legit TE. 1 consistent WR in Cruz. Kevin Gilbride's offense got stale and predictable.

No pass-protection, no running game, stale/predictable/high-risk offensive scheme, 1 reliable WR, a terrible TE (Brandon Myers). Dan Marino or Joe Montana in their prime would not have done well in that situation.

2014 - Ben McAdoo, a disciple of Mike McCarthy, will be running a QB-friendly, high-efficiency offense. Got a legit starting RB in the backfield in Rashad Jennings. Got 3 new starters on the interior of the offensive line. etc. which will give Eli a clean pocket and lots more time to throw.

Yes, DRC is a stud CB. Top 5 CB last season on the Broncos according to all metrics. Allowed a catch rate of 44.1%, 2nd best in the entire NFL among corners last season. He was so good the Broncos offered him a 6 year, $54 million contract.

Held DeSean Jackson to 2 catches for 34 yards in their game last season.

            Know your facts buddy.

I think Eagles fans know enough about DRC to confirm he is not a stud. And, let's say Foles gets "figured out." Say, his QB rating drops 20 points and he throws 4x as many INTs. He'd have a 98 rating with only 8 INTs. Their defense is not that good. If you allow teams to have long drives consistently, your yards per play will be pretty low

Typical Eagle fans, let's just ignore the dominant season he had in 2013 with the Broncos.

DRC was a Top 5 corner last season. That is a fact. His catch rate allowed of 44.1% was 2ND BEST IN THE LEAGUE

Hey dipshit, the Giants D finished 8th overall. Even if you ignore the yards per play, I could just say they finished as the 8th best defense last year.

That was before DRC, before Walter Thurmond (elite SLOT corner), with JPP doing absolutely nothing coming off offseason back surgery, without ballhawk Stevie Brown, with Jon Beason missing the 1st 5 games, with Will Hill missing the 1st 4 games, etc.

Speaking of dipshits, when did the 18th ranked defense become the 8th ranked defense ?

NYG Allowed 383 points (23.9/g), 18th. (also known as "below average" )

You can give me all the past accomplishments that the slack jaw yokel accomplished 5 yrs ago. It doesn't take away from the fact that he's the 4th best QB in the division.

Jesus, are you retarded? The NYG DEFENSE didn't allow 383 points. A bunch of those points were from turnovers by the offense (Pick 6's) and a flurry of turnovers giving the D a short field to work with, and from special teams returns for touchdowns.

Points Allowed is not a defense stat. You can give up points through turnovers on offense and through special teams.

What a complete idiot you are.

Uh no, he's still the best QB in the division. He didn't have any semblance of an offensive supporting cast around him last season (and still managed to win 7 games). Playing with a horrible offensive cast in 2013 doesn't change the fact that he's still the best QB in the division.

So a guy who threw for 29TD's and 2 Int's with a 119 QB rating is not as good as a guy who threw 18td's and 27 ints? And we are the idiots?
