  • With the 22nd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.............

....The Philadelphia Eagles select...Calvin Pryor, Safety, University of Louisville

  • #2
He is on a list of ten players I'd be satisfied with them drafting with that pick. Although, trading down would make some sense if they don't like what 22 has to offer and they could get some more picks later.

Who are the 10? I think Pryor or Ha-Ha are the most likely to make an impact next season so I'd like that pick. I'd like Dennard or Gilbert too. Roby is growing on me,

        Would love that pick

There just are not many starting positions open. This is a good to very good draft for Secondary and Wide Receivers, two areas the Eagles need depth and competition. I do not want a reach pick for OLB but if Carr falls to them and its a choice between Pryor or Carr who do you pick?

Pryor is a Football player and would be a starter by the bye week if not sooner. Carr is raw but a talent who could replace Cole next season and rush the passer this year.

All that said I feel OLB is the biggest need for this team going into the draft. We absolutely did not get enough pressure on the QB last year. Better Linebacking play will improve secondary.

            Already gone.

Mack clowney gilbert watkins dennard barr dix evans pryor cook. There are other players I like but since I feel these guys have the biggest upsides, and fill pressing needs, I would be ok with the eagles trading back if those ten were all off the board at 22.

If either fall to about 19, I would move up and get 'em. Gb looks to be taking a safety so gotta jump in front.

We can't move up. No ammo. 6 picks is all we have.

Gotta stay put and if somebody unexpectedly falls into our laps you grab him. Otherwise trading back to late 1st early 2nd and adding 2-3 picks is the only logical decision IMO.

I cant wait for the "who?" selection at 22 and then the "draftniks" saying he wasn't up until mid round on their boards. That's nostalgia.

Cody Latimer, possession receiver from Indiana, is, allegedly, very high on the Eagles' board. If they make a first round pick from left field this could be the guy.

A guy who runs 4.39 is not a possession receiver.
