I'm not suggesting the NBA should not have reacted or that advertisers cannot do what they are doing.
However, I will be very interested in seeing if there is a legal objection, assuming the recording was illegal, to taking his property when the basis for it was discovered through a violation of a privacy right.
It's not an area of expertise for me, but it was a thought I had.
EDITED TO ADD: Another interesting legal question is whether his property can be taken if the basis is that he's a bigoted asshole (as Mark Cuban has already suggested).
