I guess. I just don't think he's worth his cap number. Especially with his attitude. He's guaranteed to cause a few distractions every year. He keeps taking himself out for being "winded" too. Just don't really like the guy. But yeah, with a decent corner across from him he'd be serviceable.

Williams is the other half of the shit sandwich

If they signed Maxwell and drafted another CB, I wouldn't hate the thought of Williams being the #2 guy for one more year while the rookie learns the game.
Typical play is this: receiver makes cut, Fletch or Williams turn their hips, ball in the air, fletch or Williams can't make up the ground, receivers catch ball or get interfered because fletch or Williams have no ball skill technique.500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

He sucks, I'm not saying he doesn't. By no means should they do anything with him once his contract runs out. If they cut him this offseason, I won't shed a tear. If he's here as a momentary stopgap next year, so be it. I'd rather have him than DRC or Nnamdi, at least Williams tries.
