Hey Riccardo, another example of a video not telling the whole story is that apparently there were 12 cops who responded to the incident. This guy was not alone by any means.

According to the police chief Greg Conley: “I had 12 officers on the scene and 11 of them performed according to their training,”

Stop trying to blame the victims.

To me the interesting thing is that you had 11 good cops out of 12 there. Having said that, minus this video, the 11 good cops would have covered up for the one out of control one.

        It's disconcerting.

And even with the video evidence you still have some people trying to justify the one out of control cop's actions.

I wonder what provoked the cop to take down the 15 year old girl. The cop approached her with a group of friends and they dispersed. The girl appears to stop twice, shouting something in his direction before the take down.

To me, Occam's Razor says she insulted him or his masculinity. C'mon she certainly wasn't a physical threat to him.

Also to me, there is no way this cop would have resigned if the facts do not show he doesn't have a leg to stand on with regards to defending his actions

              Agree.

He certainly lost his professionalism and cool in what appeared to be ab overwhelming situation for him.

This may not be received well here, but if my 13 year old daughter turned around twice shouting at an officer (after assuming he gave her a directive to disperse), I'd come down pretty hard on her f-n ass. The truth is, she wouldn't do that.

Ehhh. It appears that when the cops got there there wasn't any active altercation going on.

At that point their job should have been to sort things out peacefully.

                Instead they escalated things. Sickening.

Edit: That one douchebag cop esclated things. It appears he may have been the highest ranking cop on the scene. If so, even more sickening.

I should also add that the last time I called any cops to "help" in a situation ( I had a friend I thought was in distress and I wanted them to check up) what ended up happening was that my friend was traumatized and questioned for two days straight.

Forgive me if I don't trust the police as an organization to be honest. Having said that, I personally know a couple of good cops. But knowing them and the stories they tell make me distrust the cops as an organization less overall.

Ridiculous. Where did I ever blame the victims?

The only thing I challenged was IG's assertion that the kids did nothing wrong and it was completely racial. A black guy witness disagrees, but I guess he's just an uncle Tom out to make a buck, right? Stop attacking the witness.

                      It's alright.

I'm not exactly a cop lover.

The witness who has a plug for his radio show and his book at the end of the piece. WTF is up with that? I'll attack that all day long.

Sure, no motibation for a "black guy supports the cop" (not cops.. the chief has disavowed the single cop's actions) angle there.

Those kids don't look like they were out of control at the time the 12 cops got there.

If anybody was out of control, it was that cop.

It is possible for young black men to be violent thugs you know. A responsible media would acknowledge this where the facts show it to be true, not race bait and push a narrative of a racist white establishment that only serves to further divide.

I have several relatives that are cops. I don't know of any other civilian profession where you can go to work and have a real possibility of some scumbag blowing you away, so I cut them some slack. Sure there are some bad apples, just like any other profession, but painting them all with the same brush is absurd. Funny how the bleeding hearts are nowhere to be seen when a cop gets killed in the line of duty. Now that is sickening.
