Seems like a good dude. And I'm wondering what kind of personal kick in the balls you'd express if you ended up watching him underperform under the current regime. (Not saying that he would.)

OK, I'm down.
Bring back the local kid (Jahri), draft the best offensive lineman with your first pick and almost every pick thereafter. Watch our man Sam shred defenses.Last edited by Two Gap Penetrator; 03-04-2016, 11:41 AM.

That's awesome. He was a stud in college. No doubt. I'd love to sign him.
I'm down with Jahri Evans, too. Probably would pass on Williams. We have enough talent there without taking a gamble. I'm with you though - draft best OL available at 13 and OL or d back thereafter with a qb in there, too."Listen to McCarthy" - Art Vandelay

Other than that no chance I'm signing 99% of the guys out there. It blows up in your face more often than solves a problem.
These are my feelings as well. Sign an OL or 2...build through the draft. That's the only way you get it done.

Wolf's strategy was to draft the offense so they all grow together and use FA and trades to patch the defense. Defensive playbook is much smaller and its easier to assimilate outsiders. I'm not saying this method is better or worse than any other, I'm just saying that both of those guys were influenced by it early in their careers. Pederson has also been working under Wolf protege John Dorsey, the GM in KC. So don't be surprised if they draft a college OT in the mid-rounds and turn him into a future guard.

I typically value Kempski's opinion. I would love to see them sign a mid-level OG and S, and then focus on the draft.
