Yep ... sometimes you get a player who the other team just doesn't want to pay and is worth the money (Hugh Douglas/Terrell Owens) and sometimes he ain't (Jevon Kearse/Roach Murray).

Signing Jeffrey to a big contract is a bigger risk than people realize. He's far from a guaranteed contributor like TO was. I get every free agent is a risk but overpaying to bring 'big name' players here has a low success rate. You have to factor in the fact that teams are letting these players walk for a reason. It's not always cap-related.
