Yes I don't argue that point. What I thought Reich brought to the table when he was here was his ability to install a gameplan for the other team and his knowledge working with Wentz noy necessarily the shot caller that's why I always referred to them as the 3 headed monster with DeFilippo.

I mean Reich was a QB coach with Peyton friggn Manning I think he may have learned a thing or two about the QB position and how to teach it. His offense was also among the top in the league for the few years he was OC with Rivers so ya I think he had a pretty huge impact on the 2017 Eagles as he was successful as a coach everywhere he went.

The critcism was that he has always refused to give up play calling and he does when they are in the middle of a battle for a play off spot. He clearly gave up on Wentz and a coach shouldn't do that to any player. 14 rushing plays -- but, I feel like they had better gains on 1st/2nd downs this game. It's tough to keep calling runs when it's 3rd and long so often as we saw previously. So I don't buy into the "just started using the RB" argument for this game.

For the previous games this year, I WOULD like to see (or find) a breakdown of the audibles and "kill" plays called at the line, which I find interesting if we're talking about playcalling. But I admit such a thing would be almost impossible to gather statistically, especially if they use fake "kill" plays at the line as a decoy. Still, I think that has to be part of the discussion if we're contrasting doug's playcalling this game v. w/ wentz.

All in all, great first game for a rookie against the #1 D. Let's see what some game planning against Hurts' runs looks like coming up.
